Road Safety Health Check 2015

Invitation from Road Safety Support:

''The world of road safety delivery has changed somewhat in recent years, with people from varied backgrounds coming into the profession and existing practitioners needing to work within teams with a wider scope and remit. It is vital that we understand the changes that are happening and provide learning processes for all practitioners at all levels within an organisation.

It is vital to ascertain the competencies that 'we' within the road safety profession have. Most importantly, we are looking to gather data to determine what gaps exist so that training can be developed to help you accomplish your objectives and enhance the road safety profession.

We have set out a two stage process that we hope you will assist with. The first stage is to identify the level of skills and expertise currently present within the road safety arena, in terms of Analytical Capability; Campaign Management; and Public Engagement.

To help us achieve the first stage, we would be grateful if you could take a few moments to fill in the online survey below. The survey is split into three main sections and you can skip any part that is not relevant to you. At the end of the survey you will receive some feedback on your answers.

This is the first step in establishing the training needs of the profession. More detailed research will be carried out in the coming months, which will look at strategic needs for training, training levels for individuals that will be meaningful and relevant, as well as the future training needs as the profession develops.

We appreciate that your time is limited and we have tried to keep the survey as short as possible while making it meaningful.

Please click here to complete the online survey

All forms should be submitted by September 18th, 2015.''
